Directions
Lagoon Pocket Bed & Breakfast is easy to find, just a few minutes off the Bruce Highway south of Gympie, Queensland.
From the North: On the Bruce Hwy travelling south, pass MacDonalds on your right, and take the next major turning to the left which is signposted Mary Valley Hwy, to Kandanga and Imbil. This turning will take you over the Bruce Hwy and the Mary River. Follow this road through Jones Hill and Long Flat approx. 7 kms. After Long Flat you will see our sign. Turn left into Lagoon Pocket Road and we are 500m on your left.
From the South: On the Bruce Hwy heading toward Gympie, just after the turning on the right to Cooran, you will see a turning to the left for Kandanga and Amamoor, called Traveston Crossing. Take this turning, follow the road across the river toward Amamoor and when you come to a cross roads, turn right onto the Mary Valley Hwy towards Gympie and continue past Dagun and Gilldora and after about 3 kms you will see our sign. Turn right along Lagoon Pocket Road and we are 500m on the left.
Notes for GPS Users
If you are using a GPS to find us, here are a couple of things to watch out for;
- First of all make sure you put the address as 57 Lagoon Pocket Road, Lagoon Pocket (Not Gympie).
- Secondly, if you are travelling from the south and your system tells you to come off the Bruce Highway near the Gympie Airfield, ignore it and carry on towards Gympie. (This is a fault on some maps.)
