ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL

I could not describe it any other way except for absolutely wonderful. We had to go to Gympie to collect our puppy and decided to make a weekend of it because of the long drive. It was our first visit to a B & B and I think it will be hard to top. The food, service and rooms were amazing and exceeded our expectations. We will most definately be re-visiting and it restored our faith in customer service.

You never know what to expect form Motels so during a trip in March to my mates 50th in Gymie we clicked on Lagoon Pocket B&B and what a wonderful stay, only 2 days /1 night so far to short but very relaxing and beautiful, and that Breakfast was unsurpassed. Thank you both and hope to get back for another stay soon! Alan & Tina

Lagoon Pocket B&B serves up old-world charm, home-cooked meals and all the peace and tranquility anyone needs, just 10 minutes from Queensland's busy Bruce Highway. Suzanne and James are the perfect hosts, offering friendly hospitality for both guests and their pets. Rooms, separate from the main house, are spacious, comfortable and very private. The historic town of Gympie, the beautiful Mary valley and nearby Sunshine Coast provide plenty of sightseeing and attractions.

Fantastic hosts and a breakfast that certainly lives up to its reputation. The location is idyllic and the attention to detail meticulous.

Lagoon Pocket B&B is a very special BnB, with an interesting history linked to the origin of the buildings as the local school and headmaster's dwellings, and now beautifully refurbished with great attention to detail.

Set in a lovely rural area, the doors of our room opened to the wonderful outdoors with lots trees and birdlife, and plenty of opportunity for walks. We also took a ride on the local steam train which winds through the countryside offering lovely views of the area.

We loved our one night stay, and enjoyed the hospitality and wonderful huge delicious breakfast provided by Susannah.

If the opportunity arises we would definitely visit Lagoon Pocket BnB again, and we highly recommend it to travellers passing through this region!

From the time we arrived we were made feel extremely welcomed. James and Suzannah are just gorgeous hosts. Located so close to Gympie and the Sunshine Coast and yet the ideal setting of quite surrounding bushland makes it a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Our room was quite large with a country feel and with a beautiful outlook from a private patio. The decor is lovely and I really enjoyed reading about the history of Lagoon Pocket B & B displayed lovingly for our enjoyment. Breakfast was a highlight as the setting was relaxed and welcoming, while engaging with other guests was made easy as James and Suzannah happily kept the conversation flowing as they shared some of their many wonderful stories and experiences. We highly recommend staying at Lagoon Pocket B & B for a relaxing and refreshing 'getaway from it all'.
