ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL
02/10/2011 - Really Liked It 
I could not describe it any other way except for absolutely wonderful. We had to go to Gympie to collect our puppy and decided to make a weekend of it because of the long drive. It was our first visit to a B & B and I think it will be hard to top. The food, service and rooms were amazing and exceeded our expectations. We will most definately be re-visiting and it restored our faith in customer service.

You never know what to expect form Motels so during a trip in March to my mates 50th in Gymie we clicked on Lagoon Pocket B&B and what a wonderful stay, only 2 days /1 night so far to short but very relaxing and beautiful, and that Breakfast was unsurpassed. Thank you both and hope to get back for another stay soon! Alan & Tina

Looking for a pet friendly B&B in the Gympie area, we were so lucky to find Lagoon Pocket B&B. It was a wonderful experience for us and our aging silkie terrier. The accommodation is spacious and spotless, the gardens are beautiful and James & Suzannah are wonderful hosts. The breakfast is large and delicious and served on the deck to the sounds of birds singing with the occasional moo joining in. It couldn't be more relaxing! Highly recommended!

We stayed at Lagoon Pocket B & B for almost two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is without fault and the surrounding gardens are beautiful and add to the quality of this B & B. Breakfast is a must if you are staying with James and Suzannah! It was consistently of a high standard and left us feeling full and satisfied. We could get used to breakfasts like those everyday! We especially enjoyed that a lot of the food was home grown or home made. For us it is important to travel with our dog and James and Suzannah allowed us to do that. Minka was very happy staying there and enjoyed playing with their dog- Danny. Danny is beautiful and very patient and friendly with all dogs and children. The hosts are amazing and really top off a perfect experience. Highly recommended!!!!!
Room Tip: I believe all of the rooms are the same/ similar. They are private and excellent.

Initially drawn for our purposes of finding pet friendly accommodation in or around Gympie, we were very pleasantly surprised by our experience at Lagoon Pocket.
First and foremost, we really enjoyed the company of our hosts - Suzanah and James - and appreciated their hospitality. The first welcoming touch was to let us know that there was fresh milk and chocolates in the fridge - which really set the mood for us. Bags into room, jug on - sitting out on the patio, amongst the lovely leafy surrounds - a sweet treat and a cuppa (what more could you want)
Clean comfortable furnishings - but really for us the highlight was the setting of the patio, the friendliness of our hosts and the welcome that our furry boys and our family received.
We all really enjoyed the night we stayed here - and felt at home right away.
Breakfast was ample - and Suzannah ensured that there was no dietary requirements - and we really enjoyed her lovely muffins to finish off our breakfast.
Well done - great place to spend a night or two

First of all, I would like to thank James and Suzannah for allowing us to stay at such short notice. It has been a breathtaking stay here at Lagoon Pocket B&B with lush green grass, tall eye-popping rainforest trees and singing birds in the morning it really is a home away from home. The food was absolutely fantastic, we would recommend this place to every person in Australia. Myself and my partner are definitely coming back to enjoy this beautiful oasis.
